Dimming a hu more?

I put a pioneer 4300dvd in a car and it's to bright. It does dim along with the interior gauges and things. Just not enough. Can I buy a resistor that will cut the voltage a little more? If so where would a good place to start be? I am assuming there is a formula for how much voltage a particular one reduces.
