Dimming: 300 rms?

i agree with everyone else, except the guy laughing about the cap, they do have purpose.

Get the battery and alternator checked. Then check your ground connections, for the battery grounds too. Also, assuming you haven't already, check your positive connections at the battery. Corrosion sucks.

Maybe if you have acess to a clamp meter check and see how much current your amp is drawing too.
