Yeah...most 9500's i have heard have that....except my buddy's blowthrough with a couple 9515f's ......all in the build i guess

Dam I read these threads too much:nerd:.... I'm getting ready to install 2-3512e's in a 4.6 cu/ft box tuned at 35hZ

i hope it's gonna be loud and still sound decent Sq wise. should i tune higher? I guess I'll have to find out after a listen.

Lawlz. He speaks truth though, W7s are the loudest and best sounding subs ever made.
W7s also put out more watts than any amplifier.

Like cotjones once said, a JL watt is like 2 watts from another amp.

gives you a low f3 without ruining transient response..... The question we shoudl be asking is why woudl you take a woofer with a very high Q and then port it to a frequency right where cabin gain is giving you the most extra ouput anyway?

Well, I have to say this. Its all going to be personal preference. You drive a Ford, get stuck and the guy w/ a dodge pulls you out. You get your dodge stuck, the chevy pulls you out. Your chevy is stuck, the ford pulls you out...(mean while the guy w/ the toyota is sitting by the mudhole drinkin beer, rims and paint clean).

Hell, I have ran the old Adire Brahma MKII subs...back then 'people' were *****ing about how XBL^2 didn't have nice high-bass output, WTF??? really??? My Brahma sounded great. Then less than year later they all spammed the web about how great the Mag was for SQ and highend bass. Then WTF do you know...a year of 2 later...the Mag is using XBL^2. WOW....LOL at all the internet bandwagon cawk suckers.

To each their own. If you like the tight punchy sound of a DD2500...have fun. Play the hell out of it.

If you like your muddy, sloppy Kicker L7...blow it and buy another one...lol

But hey, get in my Avalanche w/ DD3515's and tell me they sound 'hollow'...lol

Its all about preference. We are not all the same and we all have AQUIRED TASTES IN STYLES AND IN SOUND as well

agree with ya rich...dd's have a distinct sound and my teammate has 2 hdc3 15s and they sound similar to 3515s that i've heard. i can totally tell a difference after listening to my pap's and dd's. dd's have that high punchy tight bass. but still sounds good tho just different...like dayday's 4 9515s streetbeatin 157+...sounds amazing. tho most dd systems i've sat in are for the most part are 45hz+ tune...i like my stuff tuned on teh lowz...i still want a demo of your new setup for comparison
