My cheap , appearance oriented buddy wants to make a trade.

he wants to trade his RF P3D212 w/o box for my JL 12W1V2 with a qlogic 1 cube prefab sealed box.

Should i do it. From what i can see on paper , the p3 is a better sub hands down. But i wanna hear some real comparisons from people who have owned 1 or both of these subs.

if u want to lose all ur SQ then ya trade. i had p2s and they sucked for SQ, but 2 12s off 400 rms couldnt even hear my front stage in a sealed box

i don't have any SQ now. that w1 is quiet and doesnt impress me at all. i dont know if its the truck or the speaker but its getting a full 300 watts and it sucks.

yeah. i ran the t/s parameters through winisd and on there it looks like the p3 will be a lot louder.
