Digital Design Deal on ebay!!! lmao

i imagine it will be at my place late this week and i will be able to compare them. Ill let you know what i find out, but still i couldnt pass it up, even though i probably wont use it.

what is said in this forum stays in this forum, so we wont have to worry about my girlfriend finding out about my little impulsive purchase. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I only have a little over two cubes to work with, so i cant run all three of them. So when it comes in i will see what the verdict says. still dumbfounded by the price

yea im in the same boat. i only have about two cubes to work with behind the seat of my truck, so i was thinking two of the dd 8's would be choice... i know this sounds offf topic but do u think that two 10" Rl-i 10's could get the job down with 2 cubes? because its either the 8's or the 10's. I have about 1200 watts to work with.

it depends on what kind of mounting depth you are working with. I dont think you could go wrong with either sub sealed, i know that a lot of people love the rl-1 10's and there has to be a reason behind that. What kind of truck do you have? I only have 5.75 inches of mounting depth to work with, so i am really limited on my subs, which sucks!

yea i am limited to about the same, i have a 1990 chevy 1500 standard cab and i only have about 5.75 inches of mounting depth as well(i could probably squeeze 6")...the rl-i 10 mounting depth is 5.55...is this enough though for the rl-i? well as of right now i have a memphis 12 seeing about 350 watts ported @ 1.5 cubes @ 36 hz....u think 2 10 sealed @ 2 cubes will be louder than the one 12??

Edit: well i was looking at the optimal enclosure for the rl-i 10 vented and it says .5 cubes...you think i could get away with two @ 1.8 cubed after port displacement??

i actually dont have a lot of experience with soundsplinter subs, start a thread in the subwoofer forum that compares the rl-i 10 to the 1508. I know there are a ton of guys who have used both, a lot of people actually recommended the rl-i 8 over the 1508. You will get the info you want with a lot of actually testing and experience behind there responses. Are you sure it said 1.8 cubes ported for two subs? I have a crew cab silverado, so we are in the exact same boat space wise.

i got the sub last week, and it is a brand new 1508, it just has the older style rubber boot on the magnet. It actually matches my other two perfect because they also have the older design. So lucky me!! almost ready to throw them in.
