like a 2000 or 99 explorer would run you between 5-6k, the v6 gets around 20 mpg, parts are easy and cheap, installs are very simple in it, and it can fit 17 cu ft with the seats up and a view out of the back. not to mention it gets loud.

If you want to compete seriously, get a CRX. A fart box in a CRX is hard to beat. Very hard.

If you want to have fun and compete and win some times (of course all of this depends on equipment and install), go with a hatcback, wagon, or an SUV.

i put 2 p2 10's and a 600w amp on my 99 acura tegra just to get my buy till i pick up my 40001bd and put my fi's in....

and i must say it's pretty ****in loud for what it is...
