Diffrence between ABS and MDF rings

What is the main diffrence? I installed ABS plastic rings,but i deadend it from the inside and from the outside..

I dont hear any shaking or noises or anything?

So what is the basic diffrence,and how important is it to have MDF rings?

one is plastic like material the other is a wood type material

differnnce is thickness and one is plastic one is wood. not that important for it to be mdf any type of wood is good as long as it's not getting wet.

How big of an diffrence is in the sound quality? As i said i deadend my rings (and the doors ofcourse) and i dont hear any unwanted noise.
