diff between kicker kx and zx series?

is the only difference cosmetic? It seems like the specs have been the same for a while, and the differences are just looks.

As far as the internals, I've been told they are the same. I don't know for sure though.

zx series does not have a fan like the kx....i believe kicker says that the new amps don't get as hot.

The only time mine shuts off it when its like 100 out and its been sitting in the sun for a while then i crank it up. Other than that it never gets hot.
