I have the 4002 sitting in the other room, and the SE's were delivered today, just have to go pick them up because no one answered the door!!! Making a trade for the 1200d, All I have to buy is the HU and the Comps. Batcap too lol

What ya think? Please dont flame for the batcap, I'm getting it for one reason or another and we'll leave it at that, other than that - how do you like the choices? Anything you disagree with?

I may consider skipping the batcap for now, as I'm kinda low on money...

I just dont know if the factory Alt in an 04 Accord will hold a 1200d and a 4002...eh?

i have perfects. just make sure you seal your doors if you want solid sound. and just buy the mids, the tweeter are metal and ****. im going with kappa silk tweeters. i love the 2 15''s on a budget lol.

Check into the type X componets. I love mine, just a bitc h to get to set right. The rest looks pretty good to me. Good luck!

Im running alpine spx componets in custom kicks right now and they sound great. There really good for bands like sublime, the eagles, marly, ext.... Diamonds I thought sounded better with rap becuase they have a little better midbass, Just IMO. My alpines are only gettin 50x2 rms with a alpine MRD 220 amp.... Alpine X series crossovers OWN!

Well midbass in rock is fine, I listen to some older Rock IE The Eagles, older Aerosmith, Queen, and a few others

But I do also listen to a lot of rap/country

I'm looking for overall best SQ, and from what I can gather, people still favor the Diamonds the most

It's going to be a very tight fit to get the two 15's into your trunk. If you do, it will take up every inch.

If you have an EX, you have an upgraded alt over the standard Accord. It is very strong and you will have no problems with that amount of power.

Unfortunately, if you do have an EX, you have the "Premium" audio with heavy volume dependent equalization. You will never have very good sound without an additional head unit or heavy equalization. Either way you lose your factory volume controls.

It's a Honda Accord EX6 6spd manual, if I'm not mistaken that's the name of it, I nkow it's the EX and a 6spd manual.

I hope they make a decent lookin dash kit - then again, a custom made carbon-fiber one WOULD be mighty cool

i too listen to the same things. if you really want to hear mid bass, listen to george strait or tom petty. any rap sucks for SQ because it is so digitally made, and with most country and oldies, you know what those instuments are supposed to sound like.

coming from a guy with d6 components, dont get them. they especially lack in the midbass department. i have the d3 coaxials in my boat that have more mid bass than my d6's. the d6's are louder and have more clarity at loud volumes, but dont keep up in the mid bass department. i would go with the polk momos to be honest with you.

I've owned both MOMO's and DB series, I HATED the DB series and I wasn't too highly impressed with the MOMO's. Keep in mind that I paid full retail for them at the time, lol

Nothing outright against them, but I personally dont care a thing for them, and I'd prefer not to run them.

You have any other ideas? I'm all ears
