Did i order a good sub amp combination?

im on a budget i know i could of got a higher rms rated amp but i ordered a kicker cvx 12 in a kicker box, a cadence txa300.2 amp ...the sub is dual 2ohm vc ..and the amp is rated at 600 watt rms at 4 ohms bridged

well i mean is that a good enough amp or not .i heard that they actually put out more that 600watt rms because they got those figures of 13.8 volts and most companys test there amps at a higher voltage

its ok, i would have gotten a mono class d amp though, that amp probably does around 400w

well the good thing to come out of this amp. You can always use it for your front stage, and get a real class D and run the CVX at 1ohm as opposed to 4ohms.

Would have gotten a different amp, but sub is nice. Loved mine when I had it.

Also ask first before you buy, lol!

You did good. Wire the d2 sub to 4 ohms and bridge your amp and you're set.

yea i was had a spending limit right now...ill get a better amp later ..i live in prattville
