did i install this hu correctly

my sister has a 99 nissan pathfinder and the buttons on the radio just seem to break and fall off so i installed this older pioneer hu i had laying around ..... i got a wiring kit and pocket from wal mart yea i know but its all i had to work with ...... it says to use some sort of kit or something for bose unit's the wire harness plugs in work just fine and everything seems to work ..... i have to order a antenna adapter since they use a goofy one but i just wanted to make sure i installed it correctly

as long as you hooked up the wiring harnesses correct then you should be ok.

i went through all the wires and matched the colors up like i normally do and soldered them good..... i was looking at these is what had me wondering im guessing the way i did it bypassed the stock amp ?

im pretty sure you have to do something else to bypass your stock amp.

but those wire harnesses look fine.

i guess ill just leave it im thinking of getting a better hu for her since i did this for her b-day so maybe a new hu be a x-mas gift

IF you got those harnesses, one of them is to retain factory amplifier, so you dont need to bypass it
