Did i blow something up?

So i have a bunch of wires run in my car right now and im getting ready to get my amps/speakers installed. I was just starting to clean up so i didnt think to disconnect the (-) batt. While cleaning some stuff up, a stray ground wire from an amp touched the distro block for my batt power. Sparks ensued. The car was off, but im pretty sure my hu made some wierd noises. Smell ensued. The smell came from my hu. Turned on the car, hu seemed to be working ok.

Any ideas what this could have been? What kind of damage could i have done?

Ive done something similar to that before and I didn't have any problems. I was messing with the amps in my old car and both the + and - wires touched the shaft of a screwdriver. It just sparked and nothing was hurt afterwards.

Hope fully i didnt screw anything up. The spark sure did wake my *** up tho!

lol yea same here, it shocked the piss out of me. That was the last time I worked on my amps with the battery connected.
