Yeah I think the MECA metering position and outlaw rules make the most sense for determining how loud something is from a true reality stand point. Too bad we're not as large as drag or have the amount of serious competitors.actually MECA makes sense to me since my ears are at the headrest and I drive with the windows down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
LOL. SPL doesnt measure how the volume of your stereo.Yeah I totally agree, since NOBODY drives around with their windows downYou should hear the night and day difference of my truck with the windows up vs. down.
What's your point.Opening a window or door can add as much as 6-7 db without any volume change.LOL. SPL doesnt measure how the volume of your stereo.
It measures pressure //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
And besides, the original point of what we were discussing was what we consider to be a legal SPL score. I only consider sealed on the dash to be legal. You do it any other way you are just inflating your numbers. What's your point.Opening a window or door can add as much as 6-7 db without any volume change.
What an absurd comment. I do a 145.1 and barely hit 160 on an AC. You my friend would be a 159.x.i did a 144.7 on a TL does this mean i can do a 160+ on an ac lol
I think the joke went sailing above your head. What an absurd comment. I do a 145.1 and barely hit 160 on an AC. You my friend would be a 159.x.
Sorry.
You seem to just pop-up in random places. If you take the time to re-read my post you will see that I was going along with said joke, or joshing with him.I think the joke went sailing above your head.
Obviously I have no experience with what SPL is. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gifLOL. SPL doesnt measure how the volume of your stereo.

sweet. one thing i noticed is that the guy sat in the car with his supposed 162 db. you don't sit in 162 db.utter waste of time like 99% of the threads on this site. But it does kill time at work, so carry on....
i doubt he gets 150Hes gonna post a vid on the TL of a 150 legal at best.....further proving AC mic is full of ****
