I havent, But thats just how I have seen it when I been up against the two. 190 and TL. And I have been to mostly All the slapshows in the area well my area NJ PA DE. I think its still george and his wife that did them in CT not sure though.
The 180 was off though. But wasent that much 2-3 dbs. From what I remember. I think they switched in mid season in 06. From 180 to 190.

I hate to tell you this. But you can cheat on the TL just as mush as you can cheat on the audiocontrol mic. Or box for you, not the mic being the mic has no knobs.
Like I asked before do you have any Iasca shows out there in LA, That is were you are from. What mic do they use. The AC190.

The mic just got happy. I know the kid he beat at that show. mic was not 6db off for him . he hits 153-154 range outlaw on the tl all the time. and at that same show and same meter every year he won was a 156-157. He runs 4 ma 4000d's @ 1.4 per coil .realistically he gets around 2-2.5k per coil the way its run. he's running 2 re mt 12's in a ported box made of mdf and a plexiglass face.show/spl box.

I think that part of the thread is off. Yes whatever AC mic was at the show somthin was up. Some kindof cheating going on by the show judges whatever. Im sure we are off that subject now and on to you saying that the AC190 mic is not dead on to the TL mic.
Look up the assman on here Im sure he can say the same thing. He has been to a few slapshow as well.

You still are not getting it.
The sensor has nothinnnnnnng to do with how many DB its off when you can turn it up with one knob no matter what sensor is on the end of the wire.

I secound that we are off that topic of what happen at the show and on the topic that ppl are saying that the AC190 mic at ALLLLLLL shows are way off from the TL. AT ALLLLL shows ,,even the sanctioned events. Like Slapshow and Iasca.

What ever happen at that show who cares. It has no bearing on any world records, And if you are pissed about if he is bragging that he hit this or that. You better find everyone that does that. On YouTUBE myspace facebook Craigslist. Atleast he has some good equipment. Not like other that say that they hit 160 with two sony subs.

Yup. Hes right. I think to you can limit the db's number as well. Like put a cap on it. So it will only read up to 140 or 150. And Im sure there are some computer nerds out there that could do more to it.

ok i went to a local show and they use the ac 190 mic in the kick well i did a 162.3 there was one kid who won 5 years stright doing a 156.00 comparable to a 150.00 on the TL well anyways i beat him by 6 DB i have a vid and will be up tomarow
