did a 162.3 with 1 12" and 1 10" in my suv ac 190 mic on the kick

oh im sorry,im referring to the pawn shops in my area, all stolen sony xplods and a bunch of other trashed garbage subs lol.
no problem. most pawn shop don't carry the good stuff because they don't know much about car audio. car audio has always been a passion for me. i have been into car audio 30 years.

I totally realize it's not the Drag format. I understand why the scores in different orgaizations vary. I just don't consider the score as a credible one if he can't match it on the TL.
At least we are on the same page. But the fact that most don't comprehend that and come here and say it isn't true, don't have any idea what they are talking about. They just see 163.

But then again this is CA.com.

i am laughing so hard at the people who are quoting the differences between the different AC mics to the TL.

AC's are horribly innacurate and inconsistent. In one day I gained 7Db at a comp, never changed anything. did a 149.xx legal on the first run, and a 156.4 on the second.

If it isnt a legal score, and it isnt a termlab, I am going to talk smack, because those scores dont mean anything...

i have been competing for 3 years. most of the shows i go to they are dbdrag & iasca. dbdrag uses tl & iasca usually uses ac190. i have never seen more than 1 db dif. between the 2 meters. now i have had my score go up a considerable ammount during the day because of the temperature. as much as 2 db dif. just because of the temperature on the tl meter.

What do you consider legal?

sealed on the dash is legal in dbdrag, & iasca but, meca does legal at the headrest.
Exactly there is no one legal score that is the industry standard.DB Drag is just the most popular. And now bass race is taking over that.I think you can judge alot more on how a system sounds on a 30 sec average score then you can on a 3 sec burp.

That's incorrect. IASCA, DB Drag, SLAP, NESPL do it the same way. USACi even does a "legal" mesurement on the dash with the BK meter.

With the regular Termlab, you can request to be metered on the dash as well in USACi.

You're just mad because Patrick did a 168 with his 2 12's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
that shows how off those ac mics can be in the wrong hands . there was a 20db difference with a turn of a knob . and it wasn't towards my favor

The same that has been the industry standard for years and years...
On the dash all sealed.

Headrest scores and drive by scores can be impressive, but you can always get your best impression of the system by looking at the legal score.
Yeah I totally agree, since NOBODY drives around with their windows down:rolleyes: You should hear the night and day difference of my truck with the windows up vs. down.

in the next few days there will be vids of the following.. all will be with my TL

1. sealed,,, mic on the windshield

2 sealed mic in the kick

3 open on the windshield

4 open in the kick

does these satisfy every one

and for any one who doesent know me, i do compete in both db drag and meca, along with all local shows, ALL with eather 1st of 2nd,, so i would say that i know wut im doing

and for all who keeps telling me about ppl numbers in a rex i dont give a ****, i have a rex i have vids of the rex the point is that it is in a suv,,

All this talk about the score and nobody even has time to comment on the crying baby that can be heard in the background. I can only imagine the kind of parent that thinks risking hearing loss to their infant is worth it when they know this dude is going to be hitting a 162, legal.
