Diamond D5 Help

Hi I picked up a 1200.1 off ebay and I have some questions because I don't have the manual and diamond has not posted their older products on their website.

1) Subsonic filter. - How do I adjust this. The knob turns more than one full pass and there are no numbers or ranges listed ont he amp.

2) X-over , same as above!

3) Theres 2 terminals (2 + 2 -) for speaker wire. I am correct in thinking that this is a monoblock amp and that the extra terminals are just there to help run subwoofers in parallel? (i.e, I can hook a 2 ohm sub to one terminal and a 2 ohm sub to another terminal and have a 1 ohm load?)

4) No Bass Boost! But a remote Gain knob? WTF!

Thanks in advance

edit: I don't know why this double posted but it seemed to take about 15 minutes for my post to finaly go through!

1. Lower is obviously going to be a lower frequency, probably stops at about 20hz so just eyeball it to whatever your enclosure is tuned to. Should be in the manual ( i hope)

2. If your h/u doesnt have an internal filter for the sub just turn it untill you cant hear any more vocals out of the sub

3. Yes, most manifacturer's just bridge the channels internally. Basically they make wiring eaiser but make you use more wire.

4. You shouldnt be using bass boost in the first place //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif

Supa thanks, Like I said I do not have the manual.

The reason I asked about bass boost is because the manufacturer of the box and subs (Probox) recommends a bass boost around 35 htz because the box is tuned high (I don't knwo exactly but around 40-50 htz).

They recommend boosting the frequencies lower than the tuning frequency.

Now This seems strange to me because I thought you were supposed to filter out signals below the tuning frequency not boost them...But they have told me over and over that it is ok to boost the output below tuning frequency with the bass boost. I think I will call them and explain what I have been reading about low frequencies in a higher tuned box to them.

With my old amp when I had the first sub they sent me for testing Using the bass boost made the sub sound a bit better, I trie dit both ways and it played a wider range with the bass boosted a bit. However even with that amp, I did not have a frequency selectable boost just a regular hifonics bass boost.
