Diamond Audio Subs?

Believe me I wanted a Kinetik battery BAD but I wasn't able to source them anywhere but their website and while the prices may be competitive for what you get (which is key because you cant get most batteries with their specs) they were still expensive and I needed a battery yesterday when I got the yellow top locally and was pressed for time during the group buy thread I saw around.

Yeah it sucks when you are pressed for time. I don't know his screen name on this forum, but he said he could get the batteries for about $150-$175 a piece. I know for sure the owner of the 4 batteries in that picture got them for $175 each. I think the yellow top at autozone is about $150? so i decided to go with this box made from diamond audio specs http://www.topedgeonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=13610 and a bat cap 400 http://www.batcap.net/Model400.html How do u think i will be now in terms of power loss?

its not guarenteed but I am in Oswego... 45 minutes north of syr...

I would want somewhere close to the amount that I bought it for just a couple of months ago, Ive only had it installed for like 1.5 months

I just got a D9 so my vote goes for that. Gets soo loud and sounds soooo good in my sealed box!!

I had a 12" IDMAX.... my box right now has a significant whole in it but I can tell the sub is very very accurate..... i will update as soon as it is fixed!!!

Puppie chow, read the post before my last one... I was comparing it to my IDMAX saying the D9 was ALOT more accurate

got everything installed for some reason my pioneer avhp7500 head unit decied to stop working after the rest of the system was installed. So i have the shops cheap HU that doesnt have the skip protection like my pioneer so i can't really turn the subs up past +2 on the HU. But what i can hear right now is really really loud. These subs also have a very clean hit. At low levels there crisp and clear at high levels there extremely loud and deep. Once i get my pioneer unit back from the pioneer dealer. The HU i have in there now is only 40x4 the pioneer unit is 54x5. I also purchased Clif design 6 1/2 speakers that sound really nice with this setup. Good midbass and excellent highs. Eventualy i will need a amp for those. The batcap 400 and extra negative cable on my battery really helps with the dimming lights. When i did have my bass up to +7 with the HU not skipping my lights dimmed pretty bad even with the batcap but with the extra ground cable on my battery helped some.
