Diamond Audio D6 ...Not too Loud???

bose system never stopped me in the past i jsut ran new wires to the speaker spots and replaced them too. you are either gonna not be able to hardly hear it or your gonna blow your subs from clipping if you continue at your current rate. Bass Boost is BAD BAD BAD

no such thing as a good LOC,buy a head unit and stop fvcking around and wasting your hard earned money on awsome subs and giving them a shitty low signal

No cleansweep or Navarone or Audiocontrol will give you SQ and output

your gains are maxed becuase you are not giving your amp any signal

if you dont believe, borrow a nice HU and try youll thank me later..

dam kids never listen :p

i tried turnign bass bost down and gain down, but then my subs can barely be herd from inside the car!!! i need ideas
dude, if your not going to listen to us then why ask for help? we told you exactly what you need to do, stop *****ing and ripe that shitty *** bose head out, run new wires and get on with you life..or waste more money on a high power LOC and blow your subs, i dont care its your money..

when i set my lp filter to around 60-72 hz it sounds alot better....i also moved my box farther back in my trunk, closer to the trunk door, and it also sounds better. I played some test tones and different songs and it sounds better then it did yesterday. However i cannot put in a new HU because for one (dont laugh) my parents wont let me( depreciates the prce of the car according to my dad).....and for two it would cost alot, to get a new hu to take out the bose and to put in the new hu because it would have to be a custom job because the bose interface is twice as large as a alpine HU for example. So what should i do that i can actually DO???/ port them is on my list!

i doesent depreciate anything if you return the factory HU back in the car at sale time.....

your only problem is your head unit, which is also BTW designed to LOWER bass as your crank it up,a nifty feature they made for saving cheapo factory paper speakers and warrenty repairs

I have no idea what bose interface you're talking about... because the bose/onstar for GM that I sell is 6" by 3" by .75".... it is totally plug and play too so when you decide you want to sell the car you haven't cut any wires and bam your factory pops right back in. I'd just change where you're looking for the interface. As for the subs, you should get plenty of output with the M1005, I would just let them break in and make sure that you change your LPF to around 80hz.

I drive an Acura 3.5 RL and if you don't belive that the Bose HU is much bigger then say an alpine HU just look them up.....I was told by the intaller at xtreme audio that i would need to rewire my whole system if i wanted to get a new HU, or i yould have to have it custom made to work with an aftermarket HU because the bose system has an amplifier in the trunk. Also, the stereo has an anti-theft feature that doesnt allow the car to be driven if the HU is out, so i would also have to somehow bypass that i was told. If it can be done, let me know how. As for the subs, they sound decent when playing test tones, but when playing regular songs, they aren't anything special when they were tuned to 72 hz with bassboost turned down at +10db out of +16db and gain turned down from .1 to .3. thanks again

thats bullshit.

why the hell would they have a design like that? in case a car jacker steals your car and decides to take the HU out before he drives off?

makes no sense.
