dude, if your not going to listen to us then why ask for help? we told you exactly what you need to do, stop *****ing and ripe that shitty *** bose head out, run new wires and get on with you life..or waste more money on a high power LOC and blow your subs, i dont care its your money..i tried turnign bass bost down and gain down, but then my subs can barely be herd from inside the car!!! i need ideas
I have no idea what bose interface you're talking about... because the bose/onstar for GM that I sell is 6" by 3" by .75".... it is totally plug and play too so when you decide you want to sell the car you haven't cut any wires and bam your factory pops right back in. I'd just change where you're looking for the interface. As for the subs, you should get plenty of output with the M1005, I would just let them break in and make sure that you change your LPF to around 80hz.when i set my lp filter to around 60-72 hz it sounds alot better....i also moved my box farther back in my trunk, closer to the trunk door, and it also sounds better. I played some test tones and different songs and it sounds better then it did yesterday. However i cannot put in a new HU because for one (dont laugh) my parents wont let me( depreciates the prce of the car according to my dad).....and for two it would cost alot, to get a new hu to take out the bose and to put in the new hu because it would have to be a custom job because the bose interface is twice as large as a alpine HU for example. So what should i do that i can actually DO???/ port them is on my list!
thats bullshit. Also, the stereo has an anti-theft feature that doesnt allow the car to be driven if the HU is out, so i would also have to somehow bypass that
