Finally I'm home! After about 13hours. All I can say was. It was WORTH every BIT of those minutes/hours. Because I am in love, with this box.... I'll be uploading a few pictures also. Joseph has the better camera.

2 x 1 1/4" Wood Dowel Countersinked into 1st 3/4" baffle of top, and sinked into bottom baffle.

well come to find out 3 4'x8' sheets of mdf dont fit easily into an integra but after much hacking at home depot we finally got it into a pile that would fit into the car.

the back of this car was nice because you dont have to worry about any trunk lids or crap like that, and there is a freaking ton of room without the rear seats.

this is the beginning of the false floor.

and after plenty of sawing and a few mis-cuts we got the floor pretty much done.

and now onto the box.

beginning of the bracing but more on that later.

fits with plenty of space to spare.

prepping to glue on the top.

double baffle on and this thing weighs a freaking ton.

a few clamps to hold the top while the glue dries, along with several brad nails.

and i am glad to say there is not a single screw going in this box to hold it together.

good cuts + plenty of glue + brad nails = good solid joint.

terminal cup cut-out and temp mounted.

then came the big azz hole.

now back to the bracing mentioned earlier. they run through the botton and through the first layer of the double baffle. we did this for looks mainly.

from the bottom

from the top.

now it is time to sand/round over the edges. also pictured are the pair of holes for the massive 6" ports.

all smooth and round (still needs a bit of touch up sanding but it was late so we didnt worry about it that much)

the bottom with the dowels sanded flush with the rest of the box.

not the best picture but the others turned out worse.

and that pretty much sums up our day.

we will be finishing it up some time this week.
