So I'm designing a custom enclosure / utility box for my '11 Silverado. I have a pair of JBL W15GTis powered by a pair of JL 1000/1s. This Google SketchUp file is what I've come up with thus far.
My concern as of right now is will the legs of the box be sufficient? The weight of the enclosure should come out to approximately 348 lbs, including the subwoofers and amplifiers. There will be other things added to the enclosure such as tools, etc. to go in the cubbies on the side and shelves on the front. Should I make the vertical portions of the legs thicker, or is this probably sufficient as-is?
Here's the spreadsheet where I calculated my weight
