Designing a switch box

I have been planning on installing a new amp and speakers along with a car PC and in the future another amp for a sub. I wanted to design a switch box to put in my dash in order to turn on components in the trunk while the car is off. This was my intended design.

Terminals: Red=+; Black=-/ground; Blue=Remote Turn On

Left most switch would be a "master" switch and the others would be per component.

However, after thinking about it, it seemed like I would need diodes in order to prevent 1 switch working for them all because the accessory power would be connecting each switch. Would diodes be necessary and if so, are RadioShack part# 276-1661 (6A, 50V rectifier diodes) sufficient?

In addition to my primary concern, the switch box, is the rest of the diagram seemingly ok other than me not labeling the grounds as connected to anything?

Edit: Also, what size wiring would be recommended for the battery and accessory power to the switches; inside the switch box; and from the switch box to the remote turn on terminals? Battery/accessory shouldn't be longer than 4-6 feet and switch to remote turn on will probably be about 15-20feet
