Designing a Box

So I have two Pioneer TS-W302R's. I have a Chevy Astro which is a pretty big car, so I want to mount both subs vertically with the slot port facing up as well (let me know if this is not the best way to mount it). I would like the slot port to be in the center of the box with a subwoofer on either side of it. I want to keep the backseats in the car because I drive people around a lot. So the trunk space I am working with is Depth = 17 In, Width = 32 In, Height = 17 In. I attached the box design I have now. If you could check it out and give me any pointers for what to change. I want to make sure I get the most out of these subs. Thanks for the help!

looks like 3.2 tuned to 35. it might work out nicely. 30in^2 is probably a-bit much but that should do. you definitely dont need a double baffle for those woofers. id take off the double baffle honestly.. do the 3.85 tuned to 35.. those woofers are about as cheap as it gets so dont expect anything impressive.

baffle thickness is .75 you dont need 1.5. When you put 1.5 and you state there's an extra baffle thats 3 inches of baffle, two x 1.5 basically..

You'll want to face back or else you'll lose a lot output.
I think I am going to just get rid of the baffle completely, because the other guy said I don't need it for those subs. You're sure I should face it back? I was told somewhere else that I should face the subs and the port up because its such a large vehicle.

they have tons of variables. its mostly phasing that makes the difference. its really hard to say without hearing it but generally loading off the rear doors gives you the most output.. subs and port back..

if the subs and port is not tall enough to load off the roof, you will just run into cancellation which is basically negative bass.

I got a minivan tried it, firing both back is best unless you have a massive setup then it will be subs up port back.

Bass needs a wall to reflect off of which is called loading. That makes a huge difference in output.
