Demo Mode on KDC-x889

I have looked through the manual and everything, does anyone know how to get the KDC-x889 out of the demo mode that is on the screen? The unit plays fine and everything, however when I go to change the screen saver, the words "demo mode" stay and a scrolling marque continues to list all the features. Do all of these units come from the factory like this? Thanx...Jamie

In 'Standby' mode (this is assuming that it works the same as the XXV-01D) you'll press and hold the 'menu' button next to the volume knob. In the resultant menu there will be an option to toggle On/Off the Demo Mode. (Once on the Demo Mode option use the 'Control Knob' to toggle On/Off)
