guys im trying to find a batt for 3k watts i am in process of getting alt prob 180 or 200 for my civic trying to figure which one will be better choice

try a powermaster d3100 supposed to be good for about 3-4k i believe with good alt of course

if the rest of your electrical is stock... yes... if not, then no

i'm runnin 3K off of my Deka just fine took care of alllll of my dimming problems!

between the 2 Deka gets my vote... Brock Jones from Team Hazardous Sounds did a test between the exact 2 batteries and the Deka's were better and the Kinetik didn't even put out what was rated.

Also a single g31 will run 3k fine if you have a ho alt and a similar battery under hood

I have recycled a load of 36 deka intimidators all at one shot. Good battery for the price but I would do kinetik

Deka's are great batteries but I also heard the kinetic batteries dont do rated power.. Powermaster is a great choice also... Stinger SPV70's are also a great choice for the PRICE.... May need two of them though

well i was going to get a 200 amp alt so im set on that and i want to run a single battery if i could so which will last llonger and be better for my application

Between the D3100, a D1200 up front, and stock alt, No dimming with my Sundown 3K at 1 or 1/2 ohm. At 1ohm voltage stayed at above 12 for more then a minute on a tone at full tilt. Haven't done too much testing with it now at .5 ohm, but no dimming or protecting so it isn't dropping too much more.

If you bought the kinetik, you'd be buying it just because it was a kinetik. The deka will give you everything the kinetik would and more for a better price.

Doesn't really matter as long as you can hide them. Batts in spare tire well ftw, except mine doesn't fit big batts so that's not an option for me. I'll stick with PowerMaster from now on most likely, very nice batts, but very expensive too...

how big is your stock alt in your mazda i think i am going with 2 dekas in the rear with stock up front for now until i can get an better one i think that it will be alright

I use them in mine and in friends systems as well. This guy even made the switch from Kinetik to Deka and said, "his voltage was a lot more stable at full tilt".
