deh p860mp users. Q about auto alignment.

Ever try setting it manually?? I never have trusted any of Pioneer's auto features. Auto-eq, Auto time alignment were just a waste of time and gave marginal at best results. Just get a tape measure and run it from your head to the right speaker and enter it in the deck and the same for the left side. The deck will then delay the speakers that need delay.
Maybe i'll give it a try manually, it seems that you cannot just do TA only without doing the auto EQ(wich is not great btw). I did notice tho that i had a "fuller" sound between the sub and frontstage. It just seem to blend in a little better now. Maybe because i'm not an expert in tuning my amps:blush:

At the end of all this should i re calibrate my gains?

Now I don't know about you but I only use 1 set (front) of outputs out of my 860 so I only had to set the front left and right speakers.

How many of the preouts on this deck are you using and are you in standard or network mode.??

Standart mode and using front and sub output.
Ok, then follow these steps.

1 - Go to TA menu 1 and set it to inches.

2 - Go to TA menu 2 and input your measurements for the left and right speakers.

3 - And if you want, input a measurement for your subs since you're using those pre outs. But I'd try doing the front channels only first and see how it sounds.

Edit: Oops I didn't realize you were from Canada. Centimeters will work just as well.

Thanks. Will try it to see how it goes. Thanks for the advice
