deck shutting off?

hey,

i have a new alpine-cda9853. I like the deck and up until today it hasnt given me any problems...But today i pop in a kottonmouth kings cd and i ahve it at like 15-20 (out of 35) and its sounding good, so i turn it up a little more, up to like 25, and the deck starts to fade a little bit but not a lot. Then when i turn it up to 30 i starts dimming a little bit more, much more noticable it didnt really bother me but then it just turned off. and like 2 seconds later it turns back on with the volume of 0. so i turn it up to 30 again and it does the same thing...does anyone know whats happening?

sounds like its getting to low of voltage, does it only do that when the bass hits hard?

yea, umm just checked the battery and turns out its dead....so looks like i found hte problem, but thanks for the help.
