I've been trying to figure out what it is, but the deck in my friend's car gets scorching hot. I switched out the decks, did the same thing. Checked the voltage for the hell of it, that's fine. All the drivers are 4 ohm. I don't get it. Suggestions are more than welcome. Thanksies

when I take a deck out of my board when I sell it, I almost burn my hand especially if Im pulling it out at 4 o clock and it has been on since 9 in the morning, they just get hot thats why they have a ginormous heat sink on them

i agree matt, how much space does he have, is everything pretty tight, air flow helps alot, in my acura i have lots of air flow, try putting a 12volt fan above the deck over the deck coils might help, just an idea
