Decibal Rating?

I HAVE A SEALED BOX. i went to an audio store and they toled me a ported box will

produce about 3 db more.

is that a real big noticable change?

When i switched from sealed to ported Mine was a lot more of an increase than 3 DB

Generally, a ported box will give you at least a 3 db. Don't go buy one from a shop though, build your own for 40-50 bucks.

Yes it is a noticable difference. But I would recomend building one. Or at least have someone from the forum help you. It is cheaper and will be better
