Decent tweeters?

I have no idea what kind of tweeters I should be looking at. Looking to replace the stock ones in my A-pillar. Impedance isn't a big deal and I'll be running my amp active so I can set the crossovers to whatever. Not really interested in really nice tweeters, just something to replace the stocks that will be an improvement to keep up with my sub stage. The one thing I can't stand is harsh tweeters. I may not be an SQ freak but if a tweeter is harsh in the slightest it bugs the shit out of me...

Budget ideally would be like 50 for the pair I guess. Not looking to buy right now so don't bother making offers.

Well i used them to replace my DDT-28's which were aluminum and to me they are not to bright I mean since I am running them active via my HU and my HU has more features then u can shake a stick at I am able to get them to my liking.

Yep thats just for 1.. Not cheap but were alot cheaper then my old DDT's.. I was very close to getting them but Last thing I wanted was to buy 2 sets and still have my substage over power them being my 100.4 only does 100x4@4ohm but since I went with 4ohm tweets I now have 160x2 running to 2 pairs..

White there is a big difference when running active via 8ohm over 4ohm.. Amps can only do so much power at certain loads and u know this so no need to explain why.

They are seas so I know u can't go wrong. Look to be the same as mine just a different cone material and being textile I would imagine them being a lil less bright.
I might just get those...never fooled around with installing tweets in pillars, do I need any special kind of mounting stuff or should it just be a simple replacement?

Contrary to popular belief that ohm loads are cut in 1/2 for every ohm load drop. When you go from 4-6-8 ohms it doesnt do that. There is minimal change between 4 and 8 ohms. If both tweeters are the same efficiency the 8 ohm driver will take less power to get just as loud as a 4 ohm driver.
