decent system for my truck

Hi, I dont know to much about car audio and came apon this site so just figured id ask you guys. I have a ford ranger and Im not sure how many speakers are in there now but probably 4. I dont need super bass because I like to actually hear my music not just feel my balls rattling on the seat vinal. So ill I believe i need is a couple of 6X9s in the doors and whatever size speakers are in dash. So basically what im looking for is some recommendations on speakers and a reciever/cdplayer that will form a nice sounding system. No subs need. Thanks

Well I would recommend any alpine or mbquart componet set up front and the alpine 6x9 are very nice for bass. Would amp them with a nice clean amp though. As for decks there are some very nice ones, depends on how deep your wallet is. Pioneer premier has some nice decks. Besides that i would say alpine,panasonic decks would rate up there as well. the zapco components have a lot of mid bass. by the sounds of it, your system would need a lot of midbass. i would reccomend and in dash EQ, nice amp, and a *****in' component set up front.
