Most people building their own do one chamber one port, distance from the port to the sub doesn't matter. Slot porting is a lot easier and also serves as bracing. Post in the enclosure design and construction help part of the forums and get someone to design you one. It might cost you like $10 but it's worth it. You let them kno your max dimensions and what you want them tuned to. Then all you have to do is cut the mdf to size glue/screw it together, caulk, and let cure. If you don't want to pay there is a sticky thread in that part of the forum that has free designs but it might not be the right size for your trunk. You could always browse them and look though. Look for something with 4-5 cuft and tuned to 30-36hz. Idealy you should look for something that fits in your trunk that's 5 cuft tuned to 35hz.
