As little as possible! I really would like to stay under 250 for a clean 2000w rms if possible.

Very aware that might be a stretch though, maybe 2 1000w would work

This is alittle over you budget but is one of the best budget amps available. Does just shy of rated and built like a a tank(has been for me anyway)....

These are 280 shipped new, .5 ohm stable daily. Rated 3k @ .5 ohm and 2500 @ 1ohm. It will give you a clean 2000watts and some change at 1 ohm. They clamp from 2000watts - 2300 watts rms @ 1 ohm.
