Decent alarm system?

Alright well, as I keep upping the value of whats in my truck, my nerves also are starting to go up whenever I have to park somewhere other than my house or at any of my friends houses. I was looking for a direction on which way to go with a decent alarm system so I don't have to worry about shit getting stolen, or at least lessen the chance. Any help would be nice.. thanks

depends if you can install it yourself they go for $200-$250 on ebay new backup sire and battery are about $60 for the pair
