Deadener?

i seen some stuff called hushmat, what is that?i just want to see some test that show video's or audio of each mat
You want audio or a video of the mats doing what, sitting there? You wont find any audio test that could accurately discern performance differences between the mats. If you have a practical way of A/B testing the products fairly using direct audio measurements, Id love to hear about it. (its not practical) And a 'video' wont show anything useful that still-frame photos in the test dont already show.

people still wonder about e-dead since they changed it,what part of omaha are you from.
And people are still bitching about eD's deadener. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

From Papio, but in west O/Millard area now.

what im trying to say is,some people cant afford second skin or raamat,so the third in line is what?e-dead,fatmat?
Well, e-dead has been shown to be an inferior form of butyl rubber to its competitor's, appears to be showing a tendency to lose adhesion in many installations, and is from a company with a history of out and out lying about their previous mat in order to sell it to the unwary and uninformed. Fatmat is asphalt, which should be a four letter word. Of those choices, Id chose to buy Raamat but buy less of it, whatever my budget would allow. If my budget wouldn't allow for even a reasonable amount of Raamat, id save a little longer till it did. When you decided to buy your other equipment for your stereo, did you research and save until you got the 'right' components, or did you rush down to WalMart and buy whatever you could afford at the time?

so e-dead might be the next in line, fat mat you have to buy off of ebay.i would say buying e-dead is like buying off of ebay, most of the time off of ebay you never know what you might get and the services you might get.

im just trying to help the people out who cant afford the dynamat, raamat and second skin, then go buy some junk from home depot or whatever.
It's all good, man. The more help, the better.

I'll throw in my $0.02 - RAAMmat is approx $135 shipped for 62.5 sq ft. Plenty for most people wanting to cover 2 doors and a (smallish) trunk. For doing that plus the floor (2-3 rolls of BXT and 140 sq ft of Ensolite), it'll run approx $370 to $500. Not too shabby for a complete deadening and sound absorption job imo. Take $100 off those prices if Ensolite isn't wanted.
