dead sub?

i'm kinda new around this place so i didnt know where to post this, so this seemed like a logical place. so basically here are my specs before i lay down the problem: i have a power acoustik lt620 and an infinity reference 1230w in a 1.68 cu ft. slot ported box. i dont know why or how, but i was driving and all of a sudden my sub cut off. i get to work and open up my trunk and the amp is still on, so i start pushing the cone in and the sub started working again. as soon as i got out of work, the sub was working for about a good minute and the only time it'll work is when i push the cone in with my hand. i'm guessing theres something wrong with the tinsel lead, but would anyone else know? thanks

it could be that the voice coil unwound or a lose tinsel lead like u said.

if its dual vc its probably blown, happened with my kappa perfect

That sucks, i just bought some DVC subs.....whats different about when a DVC sub blows oppose to s SVC

its prob the tinsel lead.

I have those subs in my car, the cone hits the lead so i had to bend it back.

BTW they are SVC not DVC
