okay, but when i upgrade to 0 awg, am i gonna be able to turn it up more? and if i add a batt in the trunk?Bro you have 1 run of 4 gauge, stock alt, no add'l battery.
I think you are at your max right now.
now how do you know im reaching the limits for sure of my amplifier? its reading 39 volts, and the gain is at 4.You are reaching the limits of the amplifier. You can have 16 batteries and 18 runs of wire but the amp will only put out so much power. The only option is to get a second and strap or get a larger amp.
Yes a o-scope is the only way to check for clipping.
The only way to know when your subwoofer has reached its max is to sdjust and listen for issues such as bottoming out.
Gain =/= volume control. If you want to get louder get a bigger amp, or try a new enclosure. Is it worth upgrading? Yes because you'll probably want a bigger amp later on down the line. Pounding to their full potential? No, a pair of SA-12s will handle at least 2k. Get a bigger amp and they'll be pounding to their full potential.now how do you know im reaching the limits for sure of my amplifier? its reading 39 volts, and the gain is at 4.
is it even worth me getting a batt and upgrading to 0 awg ??
i just want to MAKE SURE these are pounding to their full potential, so if someone can guide me to do that it would be great.
sorry im stupid
