Studying for tomorrow mornings mid terms at the moment.
are you basing all this off winisd or have you actually played around with DD subs? I've heard over and over that they don't model well or correctly and your results seem to support that.36 models up much more peaky than 32hz does. 36 will be quite loud around 35-42hz, but has a horrible rolloff for the low lows and lacks output from 50-80hz as well. 32hz would make it a much better daily box in terms of playing the full range of 80hz and down. 36 would definitely increase the output at mid to upper 30's and low 40's, but the rolloffs ****
I do have experience with DD (not 30+ builds if you arent lying though). And i didnt say tuning to 35hz-42hz was "bad".are you basing all this off winisd or have you actually played around with DD subs? I've gone as low as 35Hz and as high at 42Hz and have never had a problem playing any freqs in the music I listen to. I'm not saying these are comp SQ builds, but they can sound very good and blend quite will with a solid front stage.
