DD9512G -- '04 Ram 1500 Single Cab

A simple truck style box would have been the way to go. I'd be happy to design one for you...just give me your max bottom depth, height, width, and top depth. You could easily have fit 2-10s (or your single 12'') with a pair of 4'' aeroports firing up or to the side and have your passenger ride as comfortable as you.
I agree you could have saved alot of room. But what you got now should be loud. I cant wait for vids.

^ dunno what you said but thanks lol!

going to start working on it in a few minutes. clocks went back an hour so hopefully I have enough light

yes and it came out to a nice fit with the middle seat deal. Its just those things sticking up. I knew the passenger seat was going to be pretty far forward but theres not much you can do about that in a single cab unless you go shallow mount subs
you say that, but i had an HD3C 12 in my dodge ram, and the box was only 10" deep as opposed to 13... it however ran the length of the cab, was also only 14-15" tall so it was not noticable, the center seat still flipped all the way back, 2.25 cubes at 38hz, slot port firing up, sub forward... and i had plenty of room for 2 of them if i wanted, or a single 15... you just have to cut a 9"wide 2" deep channel around the hump behind the passanger...

or take the back trim piece off and unbolt the center seatbelt bracket

Just hooked it up and its pretty **** loud. Moves TONS of air out my driver side door, a hair trick should insue //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Im going to take a video tommrow. I was very impressed with the air. On the passenger side it didnt move much air at all though.

I do have some reallllly nasty rattle though. Not sure where they are comming. Also might have a grounding problem...dunno how it happened cause I kept the same power and ground runs. The sub jumps around when I move and touch stuff around the box somethimes. Didnt really fine tune it at all so Im sure I can get it louder when I mess around with it some more.

It gets SUPER loud when I turn up the bass up on the HU but the clipping light starts to go crazy so I guess thats not a good idea for a long period of time haha. Overall im pretty impressed with it. The rattles are much worse but once I fix that it will sound much cleaner.

I didnt have any light except my overhead so I couldnt clean up the install today. but here are some pics...will get a video tomorrow.

I see DD's 'built buy them' boxes with the 2in x 10in port thats like 30in long and your box the port is just insanely massive is your box tuned high? if tuned low i would think that port would be 100in long being as big as it is?

nice install tho what amp is pushing oyur highs atm?

i thought subsonic was supposed to be like 10 below or above box tuning? Idk cant ever remember but ill do 35.
