The DDs are great subs and will give u the extra headway power handling wise in case you want to upgrade in the future(they can handle 2500+ daily in sum applications).
Where as SX generally can't handle anything over 1500w daily without running into any issues(can handle 2500-3k burps if you're careful).
DDs will also be more expensive though, you pay for quality though. IMO the new SXs aren't built to the same standards as the older SXs were by anymeans. But that just seems to be the case with all the RE woofers now though.
