was the sub at 1 ohm and how much power was it seeing?

i have a hatch with a l7 and with my new amp i want to try another sub. i have had many subs over the years.I was thinking DD , i want to move some air and if i was going to get on the meter i want to do well. ill see if i can get a deal on a sub or 2, thanks

If you have a hatch, I would fire both the sub and the port rearwards. With a hatch the resonance frequency is probably going to be like 45-55hz. If you are looking for numbers, I wouldn't tune low. If this is a daily driver, go for it.

gona try my 3518 in 32hz and i will def let yall know whats up!

edit: im going to make removable ports as well... a 40hz, 39hz, 38hz, 36hz, and 35hz

i have sub back ports back as we speak not bad, i posted a vid lol.Yea its my daily driver, i heard another tiburon with a prefab box i think it was tune to 42 Hz with 2 12inch L7 off a Hifonics 1600d, yellow top .It was loud but moved no air and no flexing at all.

If you want to move air and flex, tuning low is the way to go.

They get pretty loud and are all around great subs.

aeros are easier imo. 4 screws out, then 4 screws in. BAM! changed tuning.
