DD Sub Woofers

One for each coil or one for each sub.............either way you may want mo powa for the 9515 deffiantely if for each sub.

First off .. YES a DD9515 is a GREAT sub...
I am not sure that you know what getting this sub really means.. You are going to have to get an amp that will cost you ATLEAST $350 +++

1/0 G wiring, a new alternator, and do the BIG 3...

Getting a sub with this much power will cost you a lot more than you think..

**Just something to think about**

Quoted for truth.

I had a 3515 off a PPI 1000 mono and it was barley moving and had that underpowered muddy-ness to it. Then I stepped up to the MMatts 3000w and the 9515 and it was awsome, and that woofer could have taken another 3000 i bet. You might not need a new alternator, I ran 2 batteries and it never had a problem, but if you can swing an alternator, f-yea get one.

yea im with loaked on that , ive had big amp in my car with no probs, i got a stock alt and the batteries in my sig, i just charge them here and there to keep them topped up.....

also if your gonna buy a 9515 and you see what that cost , the 300 for an amp should be expected for somethng decent ...... not saying you cant find something for less but that statements just not true

A local guy had a 9515e in 4.5 net ported tuned to 35 hertz with a JBL BP1200.1 on it in his Thunderbird, and it was loud. It probably could have used another amp on though, it barely moved.

Before I start putting thind together I must find a altenator that gives at least 250or more. Im all open ears to anyone.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

Stock 130 amp for now. I have 6 group 31 batteries in my truck. I drop to 12.8-13.0 volts on burps so it is not too bad. I will be adding a 275 amp alt very soon. I am running 8800 watts rms though.

That would be a function of the harness, not the HU, I think. Have you looked into a Maestro or iData interface? i would check with crutchfield...

thanks DB, that definitely helps swallowing a $300 price tag 😂 these would essentially be running midbass for me too

What is your budget? With being exposed to Rain.. I would recommend looking at a marine grade SAS Bazooka for the sub stage

Don't forget Hoffman's Iron Law. You can have 2 of the 3: low end, efficiency/sensitivity or small enclosure size...
