What we recommend first is to get some windshield replacement adhesive.

Push some of that into the hole or split in the surround and then smear

a thin layer about 1/2" on either side of the crack or hole to keep it

from spreading. That is the best stuff out there for surround repair.

Best regards,

/DD

So a company tells you a 5 dollar alternative to shipping your sub across the country, spending some odd 100 dollars, and waiting weeks for it to be done. Your right, that is messed up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

People have done the above and banged on their sub for years.

You bought a poked sub without checking your options first...live with what you got.

i believe it works, i siliconed it 10 mins. after i got it yesterday and 30 hours later its solid. i'm getin ready to install it and give it hell lol... i'd like to have it look nice also ya know? we'll see tho.. theres some DD dealers in Indy and i'll be up there in april.. maybe i can get the hook up up there.

From couple of post I've read lately, it seems like DD is trying to start beef with Fi.
