You live in OKC, and you don't know that DD is just a nameplate for Renosance Inc. which is the build house that has and still does R&D, and OEM work for more than a dozen manufactures ?

I go back to the mid 90's with Digital Designs, and was a dealer for many years, and I still use and recommend DD products as well as many others.

DD and SQ are sister companies this is not and has never been a secret, Jassa and DJ are father and son this is not and has not been a industry or company secret, but they are different companies with completely different business models, it is not really that big of a deal, but for some reason DD nut huggers want to deny any and all connection between the two

We're not saying they have nothing to do with eachother.

We're saying they aren't the "same thing"

Are Skar subs the "same thing" as Sundown subs?

They use the same basket. Other than that, different parts. I don't see people saying they are the same, so why does everyone say SQ is exactly the same as DD?

Its been a marketing ploy to get the best of both worlds.

Father and son take over the market by offering high end and mid grade products to target both economy classes.

Just understanding that makes it completly understandable why they share very few parts.

is resonance.. not wtfever you just typed.. if youre going to try and tell me **** I already know, I recommend having the correct info, put forth in a well thought out format, not whatever nonsense you have thusfar produced. aq (ran by dj, jassas father) does nothing more than buy off the shelf chinese drivers, or occasionally use some old dd tech, although even then its done as cheaply as possible, making it only a half *** copy. this is NOT r and d. this is taking old dd crap to china and saying "make this.. cheap".

if youre under the impression that dd/resonance does any form of rd or qc on any aq drivers, youre sadly mistaken.

now, thats not saying sq is a bad product, nor is it saying dd is a good product. but it is what it is, and thats all it will ever be.

I'm just saying, if you're gonna be a rabid fan of a brand, dd isnt a bad choice. I mean it's no audiopoo(or soundpooed, or whatever they call themselves now) or DC (Dumb Chinese) audio, or whatever flavor of the month garbage everyone loves, but it'll do.
