To the OP, what sound are you looking for?

IMO the DD has very good bass energy and the BTL has smother lower sounding bass. You can put the DD in a bigger box and get lows and it will sound good. They are both great drivers. I vote for DD coz i have owned the 95series and love it!

Still debatin on the right setup for my ride. narrowed it down to a single 15" either a DD 9515 or a FI BTL 15" to be powered by 1 Orion HCCA-D5000 sub amp. What do y'all recommend?
