DD 9500 box

Ok so im picking up my dd 9515i tomorrow. Runnin it bridged on a m2b at 1 ohm. Im also getting a custom built box for it. But i cant get that box until i save some money up. I currently have a box tuned in the upper 40s. It has a fairly small chamber and port. I know it wont sound to good until i get the custom box but my main question is will i hurt the speaker itself by putting it in that box until i get a new one? I figured i coukd just use this box to break it in some. Thanks

You cant bridge a 1 channel amp. Anyway as long as it dont tear the box apart and you set the SS filter right it will be fine. When you get the box built go with 5 cubes net

The amp is two channels. What would you set the subsonic to? Anything else about box specs i should keep in mind?

Edit: this box will def not blow apart its a sturdy *** custom box.

Good question. I had two 2510s on it at 1 ohm and it ran well for a while. But i think i took a toll on my electrical system because before i sold em my amp would go into protect when i put constant bass notes to the amp. Im actually planning on putting another battery in my truck. In fact i think i should just get the battery before the new box. Battery options guys? About setting it up... Im fairly certain i can tune a amp right but ill have the local audio shops do it just to be safe.

What alternator are you running? and what's your current battery/batteries right now?

They compete in competions and last time i saw em their shop truck had two 1508s on a planet audio amp. They are mst audio in prarieville louisiana. Im pretty sure they know what they are doing when it comes to high end equipment. So what are you thinking would fix this

Then the first thing you needa upgrade is your alternator. I would recommend Singer Alternator. Ask @mylows10; he'll hook you up with a good deal. Then get 0 gauge OFC wiring if you didn't already. Then think about battery after everything is said and done. Do this before anything else or you will have more and more problems.
