so i got this sub from btnhfan not really expecting much out of it, but damn that little bastard can pound. i haven't heard an 8 before, so i don't know how the others sound. but this thing definately hits hard. i have it in a .82 cu. ft. ported box. it's only getting about 350ish watts from an IA 20.1. i am not sure if it would be loud in a trunk, but my explorer definately rocks. just thought you all should know that.

Yes, Audio Que has a SD2 8". Gets stupid too. Bring that box up to 1 cubic foot with 16" vent 16" long and you'll really see like faulty zipper kind of wangin'!!

i was looking at the dd 8" today at the dealer. i think i want to try three 8"s ported, and i think he does too.

Anywhere from 2.25 net to 3.25 net with DD's port equation. Sick, Retarded, Rowd! Definitely fun to show off after people guessed something about 4x larger was in the trunk!

I just called Border Motorsports to make sure they had (4) DD 1008's in stock last night, I'm putting them in 3.2cubes tuned to 32hz. I'm picking them up Saturday.
