DD 3512b vs Type R 12

both subs will be put in a 2.5@40hz enclosure and will be given around 800watts. the dd i researched was an older model but most 35 series hype is on the new D series not the B. anyone have any experience with these? and would it be an upgrade from the Rs? leaning towards SPLwise. the B series motor is 800/1200 rms/max, which i assume is underated?

i have a buddy with two type r 10"s with a d6 1500.1 in the same truck as mine, and he cant touch me with two dd 2510s off of 1100 watts.

Given the correct install the DD should definatly take the cake. That and the fact that it's made with DD durability.
