DD 2500 or AQ HDC3

that quantum amp is a really good budget amp. i am sure he has beat it, any probs?

it is a good amp 4 as cheap as it is it only puts out like 1500rms at 2ohm but it is better than nothing. But i had that amp turned all the way up and never had any problems with it. It got hot but never went into protect. I got my DD M3 today and that f n thing is so dam loud going from that quantium to that is a HUGE difference

the 2500 sounds much better, gets lower and is more efficent.. dj is a good guy but the new hdc shouldn't even compared to the 9500... the hdc vs 3500 is a fair compersion, but the 3500 is a better musical woofer... sq wise from dd its 9100 2500 3500 9500.. the 9100 is top notch, 2500s sound **** fine for the output/price... if you want a musical woofer the 2500 all day.. if you want a spl monster that sounds OK at best the hdc...

not the new DD woofers went through a spider change that made them more efficent, so there easier to blow.. my vote with 1200 for MUSIC, 2500 hands down...

all in the install and your ability to tune. My HDC's sound better then 99% of the stuff I've heard and that's playing real music, not rap. But they'll also pound hard when you want them to.

I've only owned 9515's, so I can't comment on how the 2500 sounds. 9515 sounded very tight, but I like the sound of the HDC better, at least in the enclosures I had them in.
