DD 2500 or AQ HDC3

im getting a system put together and he has 1200 to spend for a deck,amp kit,amp, sub

he wants to get just 1 12 and i all ready have a deck picked out it is a pionner premier 7100 so he has 900 left just for a amp kit, amp, and sub...i am stuck between a DD 2500 or a Audioque HDC3 i know they are basicly same thing made by the same company and have the same basket and some other things but the Audioque is 100 cheaper and has 300 more rms and the sensitivity is the same as the DD... i dont know which one to get im kinda leaning toward the AQ...What do you guys think

The HDC3 is no comparison to the 2500. The HDC3 is somewhere between the 3500 and the 9500, being closer to the 9500. It will **** the 2500. And it will take 2000k daily.

yea i just havent heard a AQ in a daily driver the only AQ i have heard was 2 18" HDC3 in a cargo van and it was ****ing loud as hell flexing the sides and roof and everything.

i forgot to put in there he listens to rap and country if that makes any difference. He wants it to sound real good but also be able to be loud as hell

AQ, trust me. I have done a side by side comparison between an AQ HDC310a, and a DD 3510. The AQ won.

Yep. I have 1600w going to mine right now and it hardly gets warn, even after playing test tones for a while.

this ^ we gave a set of hdc318's between 7kw and 11kw

we compared 2 hdc318's to 2 dd 9518's...the DD's were louder by 2 or 3 db but the aq's lasted longer.

hey now... I have a DD M3 come n hopefully tommrow so i wont be powering it with a shity amp no more. i only bought that because it was cheap and it did good 4 like a year but i finaly saved up some money to move up on the line

we had a single 12 hdc3 on an aq2200 in a trunk hit a 145 in a daily aplication.
